According to the SSP guidelines, an online doctors sick note for work in UK must include the standard details, that a normal sick note has via in-person assessments. It must include the date of consultation, the doctor’s opinion following the online assessment, and the verification that the patient is indeed “unwell to work” for the time they have already been absent from work.


This document is different from a fit-to-work or unfit-to-work certificate that defines the specific time that a patient is recommended not to go to work. online medical cert only justify the so-and-so number of days the patient has already taken leave for their ailment. The document does not offer any recommendations for the number of days the patient should take off from work.
