At Get Healthcare, an online doctors sick note is issued by a GMC-registered GP, certifying the patient as “unwell” for a so-and-so period to miss work. It is a piece of document, usually sent via email to the patient. The document includes the name of the patient, the nature of the illness and the period they will take the sick leaves. You can get sick note online in the UK for only short-term leaves from 2-5 days. It only applies to minor illnesses that don’t involve any sort of medical emergencies or requirement for in-person assessments.
